Today’s Future Sound is proud to announce that recently at the Youth Arts Summit put on by Out of Site, our Prescott Elementary Students Doug and Tay (The Golden Mics as they call themselves) took first place, competing mostly against high school students!  The back story is equally impressive, as Doug, who is 10 years old, provided the money to pay for his mother, younger brother and cousin to take the BART from West Oakland to San Francisco since it was so important for him to perform and compete in the show.  We commend Doug for his commitment and pursuing his dream.  Below are video clips from our instagram channel instagram.com/todaysfuturesound
